We are examining our policy of rest after embryo transfer. Currently we place patients in a recliner chair for 15 minutes then let them go unaccompanied. They are told to take it easy for 2 days and no heavy exercise until their pregnancy test. what are other centers doing? Any research published or home grown to support your practice? Thanks

Hi, Sherilyn. We are following a similar protocol in our center. Rest 15-20min in the procedure room. D/C to home with rest for 2 days and no strenuous activity until pregnancy test. I don't know of any current research to support this, however. Pam
